At Ellzey UMC we believe that all should experience God's Love and the Peace of Jesus Christ, whether within the walls or outside in the World, creating disciples who follow in the footsteps of Our Lord and Savior.


Wednesday afternoon Youth Bible Study starts at 3:30pm, and is combined with Cedar Key UMC. If you would like your child to join in for study please contact 352-949-4635

Who We Are

Here at Ellzey United Methodist Church, we are driven by a single goal; to do our part in making the world a better place for all. We invite all who pass our way to enter the Church Sanctuary and spend time with God.  
The front doors are always open so that all may enter as they wish for prayer and rest.

Church can happen anywhere. 
It happens when we create learning opportunities that transform lives. It happens when we create safe environments where children can play and learn. It happens when education makes the path to citizenship a little easier. And when our sacrifices help nourish our minds and bodies.
That’s putting beliefs into action.

Sunday School ~ 10:00 am
Traditional Church Service ~ 11:00 am

Wednesday Night Bible Study~6:00PM


Our Sunday School services provide a closer look at scripture and opportunities to openly discuss how we can apply God's Word to our lives.  Immediately following Sunday School is our traditional worship service, which includes the singing of hymns from the Methodist Hymnal.  

On Wednesday afternoons after the regular school day, local youth meet for Bible Study and activities.

 
We urge all to come as you are so that you are comfortable as you spend time in worship.

 Community Involvement,  Upcoming Events, On-going ministries

One Step at a Time

We are always looking for new and exciting ways to share God's Word with our community. The Youth experienced hands-on missions in hurricane Michael affected areas in the month of April 2019.  

Although the Pandemic hampered our service, we are coming together again working together in mission and Love.

​

As a small church we have taken up a School Supply Ministry for Cedar Key School.  It is one of the schools that children in our local community attend.


The student supply list from each elementary classroom is received and filled with the number of requested items as students in that classroom.  This eases the burden of the families as well as the teachers themselves.  

​

If you are immersed in the belief that prayer is important we urge you to Come pray for those in need.
